Resigning Jose to $7-8m won’t leave much room under the luxury tax threshold to bring back K-Hump and Brezec, and I’m not sure what Moon’s situation is? I was trying to see if they could maybe sign Brand or trade for Jermain O’Neal, but I don’t think either is a possibility, nor even doing a sign and trade for Maggette, who I imagine would want $10-12m per.
