Some kids are just born with it: Ryan Gosling edition
June 20th, 2012 | Arts, Comedy | Comment »Canadian actor Ryan Gosling was famously a Mouseketeer in The Disney Channel’s last incarnation of The Mickey Mouse Club, alongside fellow cast members Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Justin Timberlake, for two seasons spanning 1993-1995. That experience and exposure quickly launched his acting career, leading to memorable television roles on Breaker High and Young Hercules, and eventually leading to roles in major films, including Remember The Titans, The United States of Leland, and, of course, The Notebook, which secured his place in Hollywood as a box office draw.
Before all that, though, Gosling was just another precocious kid who liked attention, as evidenced by this video of him singing Michael Bolton’s When a Man Loves a Woman solo, and then performing a choreographed dance to C+C Music Factory’s Everybody Dance Now with his sister, Mandi, at a Mormon talent show in 1991. Kudos for the Hammer pants.
