Kobe Doin’ Work

The first trailer for Spike Lee’s upcoming documentary on Kobe Bryant, showing “A Game in the Life” – what it’s like to be the greatest athlete on the planet for a game.

Documentaries like this will never get old. I’m not sure why. But we love them. Love them. I could watch 12 hours of behind-the-scenes drama like this and not get tired. And it doesn’t have to be basketball. It just has to follow an individual or group at the top of their game. And it has to be candid, real. But save that, the context could be anything – high-stakes cooking, high-stakes accounting, high-stakes advertising, high-stakes sewing. Anything. As long as it’s showing us what it’s actually like to be the best of the best on any given day.
