Jason Richardson’s smorgasbord of dunk attempts, including his two near-makes (the tragedy of the then-rules, insofar as the number of missed dunks allowed per turn was concerned, heralded the opening of the Chris Andersen/Nate Robinson Missed-Dunk Pandora’s Box of subsequent years), in the 2004 NBA Slam Dunk Contest.

This collection of dunks (and attempts) ranks as the single greatest display of Dunk Contest risk-taking, creativity, and execution. Ever. Wince be damned. And with all respect to Jordan.
