That made me get lost in Eminem videos on YouTube for a little while, and I eventually ended up on D12′s video for My Band, which probably has the best ending to a song/video ever:

And then I watched his video for When I’m Gone. And I cried. Literally.

I dunno. As far as hip hop goes, there aren’t many MCs who bared their souls like he did. And it’s not that he didn’t have his share of fluff – he did – but he also had well more than his share of profoundly personal songs. And those are the ones we’ll probably remember him most for. I’m curious as to who will ultimately be remembered as the better MC – him or Kanye West?
