This from a douchebag taxi driver in South Africa, as reported in an AFP story.
Also this tidbit:
About 50,000 rapes are reported every year in South Africa, which has one of the world’s highest violent crime rates.
But activists say the numbers are hugely under-reported, and could amount to a million a year.
I mean, how do you even start to tackle this problem? Easy answer is education, but you’re fighting some well-ingrained social norms, here. I can’t imagine what it’d be like.
