Tobey Maguire is getting his.

From a MovieWeb article:
Tobey Maguire may be Spider-Man, but before that he’s a Family Man. The actor who played Peter Parker and his webbed alter-ego in the first three Spider-Man films has signed a deal for his appearance in Spider-Man 4 and Spider-Man 5, and according to the Times Online, he has a clause in his contract that gives him time off specifically to spend with his daughter.
Maguire, who will film the two movies back-to-back over six months has insisted that he get early mornings and evenings off to play with his daughter, Ruby, who is 22 months old. Maguire will earn $50m in salary and profit shares from the two movies.
Apparently Sony was weary of giving Maguire the family time, for fear of setting a precedent. However Sony Chairman, Amy Pascal, stepped in saying that six months without family time would be unfair to any parent.
“Tobey admits he is obsessive-compulsive about everything he does, and raising Ruby is no different,” a friend of Maguire’s said. “There’s no way Tobey would allow work, no matter how well paid, to get between him and Ruby, and Sony realized that.”
Sony is expected to reveal in the next few days whether or not Kirsten Dunst will be returning as Mary-Jane Watson.
It’s going to be tough to deny Christian Bale this kind of package for future Batman installments, and there’s a lot of pressure, now, on Raimi and Maguire to up the ante with the next two movies. I guess when you’re dealing with $258 million budgets and $891 million grosses, an extra $20 million and family time per film for Maguire over, say, Jake Gyllenhaal is a bit of a no-brainer. They’ve already said that they don’t want to go “dark” with 4 and 5 in light of The Dark Knight’s success, so it’ll be interesting to see what they come up with.
Ol’ Tobey Maguire, eh? The Cider House Rules, indeed.
Get it? You can use “Rules” from the title as a verb. Tricky, tricky.
