So our good friends in Dubai are proposing the construction of Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens, a 20,000 acre “green” project, in six stages, with 73% of the land being used for green space – parks, lakes, canals, potted plants, piles of leaves and the like. This photo, of a phase dubbed the “House of Wisdom” and sporting universities, libraries, men with long beards, etc., stood out because the island is a nine-pointed star:

And this one, of the “House of Commerce,” stood out because there’s no way it would make sense to build a tower that tall here:
