Trade TJ.
March 22nd, 2008 | Basketball, Sports | Comment »I can’t believe Mitchell kept him in so late in the fourth. The whole time, whenever he had the ball, the three of us were cringing with fear. Granted, he did score a couple big buckets before he finally went out with 3 and a bit left, but he suffers from Mike James syndrome. Actually, I think I’d actually prefer to have Mike James back over TJ. At least James didn’t think he could get a layup through 4 people. He’d only drive when he saw an open lane.
I have to admit that I doubt Jose would have appreciably changed the end result. Lebron is incredible. He might not be better than Kobe right now, but he will be next year. The combination of speed, agility, and power is astounding. And unfair. If he wasn’t such a douche I’d be a bigger fan. I’m hoping Toronto sinks and gets the 6th spot to match up with Orlando. I’d hate to see Cleveland in the first round. If it wasn’t a sweep, it’d be 5 games, no more. And by getting on that side of the bracket they wouldn’t see Boston or Cleveland until the Conference Finals. Orlando and Detroit would be a way easier route. Of course, the fear of slipping is that they’d slip down to the seventh seed, but even then I’d rather see Detroit than Cleveland.
