Halifax digitized for Sim City

Pretty interesting.

This guy named Samuel Austin has spent a lot of time creating digital versions of some of Halifax’s most iconic buildings and businesses for use in the Sim City computer game. Once created, he uploads them to www.simtropolis.com to share with other players around the world. The amount of detail in some of them is astonishing.

The Lexington, Robie St.

The Five Fisherman, Argyle St.

Video Difference, Quinpool Rd.

Galleria, Gottingen St.

Clay Cafe, Quinpool Rd.

Mills Bros., Spring Garden Rd.

Perks, Quinpool Rd.

King of Donair, Blowers St.

Bank of Montreal, Quinpool Rd.

Foreign Affair, Spring Garden Rd.

Scotiabank, Spring Garden Rd.

There’s a bunch more that I haven’t linked to, but you kind find them on the Simtropolis website.
