So apparently (according to Wikipedia), the music video for Basketball, a single off Kurtis Blow’s fifth EP, Ego Trip, is credited as being the first rap video.

Ever.

It clearly inspired every video that followed it.

Whoever said ninja dancers have nothing to do with basketball obviously did not experience the 80s.
